This season's holiday films aren't to be missed!

Leonardo Di Caprio stars in The Great Gatsby, the latest film based on the classic novel. Nick Carraway, played by Tobey Maguire, moves to New York's Long Island. There he meets Jay Gatsby (DiCaprio). For a while, Gatsby's luxurious lifestyle appeals to him. But problems soon begin to show up.
The latest film by Academy Award winning director Ang Lee is also based on a book. Life of Pi follows Pi Patel as he travels from a zoo in India across the Pacific. He survives a shipwreck and ends up in a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger for a companion. The film's special effects promise to be amazing. Those looking for an adventure should look no further than The hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
This first of two films based on the book by JRR Tolkien tells the story of hobbit Bilbo Baggins. He and his companions travel to Lonely Mountain. They plan to get back a treasure stolen by the dragon Smoug.
In Rise of the Guardians, favorite children's characters Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and others work together. They must stop the evil bogeyman from bringing the world into darkness. James Bond fans have been waiting for his 23rd adventure. Skyfall has Agent 007's trust in M tested as events in her past become known. Two comedies will keep people laughing. In Parental Guidance, Billy Crystal and Bette Midler play Artie and Diane. Their daughter asks them to care for their three grandchildren. But their old-school parenting methods clash with the grandchildren's over-schedules way of life. Wreck-it Ralph is Disney's 52nd animated feature. Ralph is the bad guy in a video game. For 30 years he has destroyed things. Now he wants to prove he can be a good guy. So he escapes his game and finds another where he can be the good guy.
Whatever film you choose to see this holiday season, it's sure to be a good one.

What can you look forward to this summer at a theater near you.
Summer is just around the corner, and if your're a movie fan, that means plenty of reasons to head for your neighborhood theater. You could call this the summer of the "threequel." Many film franchises are releasing a third installment over the next few months.
Your favorite zoo animals are back in Madogascar 3, Europe's Most Wanted. Third entry in the animated series finds Alex the lion, Marty the zebra: Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe joining a traveling circus. They hope to make it safely back home to New York city from Europe, where they were stranded on their way home from Africa.
In Men in Black III, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return as Agents J and K to fight the ongoing battle against extraterrestrial invaders. Details of the film's plot are being kept secret but it is known that Josh Brolin will play a young version of Agent K. Christian Bale returns as Batman in The Dark Knight Rises, the third entry in director Christopher Nolan's Batman series. This time, Gotham City is threatened by a terrorist character named Bane. Anne Hothoway, co-stars as Catwoman, and Michael Caine reprises his role as Alfred the butler.
Brave, the latest Disney/Pixar animated adventure, is set in ancient Scotland. A young, impetuous princess and skilled archer named Merida refuses to follow an ancient custom of her people. The resulting chaos forces her to use her skills and discover true bravery before it's too late.
In Jack the Giant Killer, a modern update of the fairy tale, a young farmer named Jack leads an expedition into the land of giants. He plans to rescue a kidnapped princess. The film is sure to have some amazing special effects. The fourth Ice Age film, Ice Age: Continental Drift continues the adventures of Manny, Diego and Sid. The prehistoric pals float on an iceberg and encounter numerous new creatures, including pirates.
The prequel The Amazing Spider-Man takes audiences back to the teenage yours of Spider Man. British actor Andrew Garfield stars as a young Peter Parker. The plot has Spidey taking on a villain called The Lizard. What's not to love about a chase through New York City? In the thriller Premium Rush, a bicycle messenger is pursued by a policeman. He wants an envelope that the messenger is carrying.

Your favorite zoo animals are back in Madogascar 3, Europe's Most Wanted. Third entry in the animated series finds Alex the lion, Marty the zebra: Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe joining a traveling circus. They hope to make it safely back home to New York city from Europe, where they were stranded on their way home from Africa.
In Men in Black III, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return as Agents J and K to fight the ongoing battle against extraterrestrial invaders. Details of the film's plot are being kept secret but it is known that Josh Brolin will play a young version of Agent K. Christian Bale returns as Batman in The Dark Knight Rises, the third entry in director Christopher Nolan's Batman series. This time, Gotham City is threatened by a terrorist character named Bane. Anne Hothoway, co-stars as Catwoman, and Michael Caine reprises his role as Alfred the butler.
Brave, the latest Disney/Pixar animated adventure, is set in ancient Scotland. A young, impetuous princess and skilled archer named Merida refuses to follow an ancient custom of her people. The resulting chaos forces her to use her skills and discover true bravery before it's too late.
In Jack the Giant Killer, a modern update of the fairy tale, a young farmer named Jack leads an expedition into the land of giants. He plans to rescue a kidnapped princess. The film is sure to have some amazing special effects. The fourth Ice Age film, Ice Age: Continental Drift continues the adventures of Manny, Diego and Sid. The prehistoric pals float on an iceberg and encounter numerous new creatures, including pirates.
The prequel The Amazing Spider-Man takes audiences back to the teenage yours of Spider Man. British actor Andrew Garfield stars as a young Peter Parker. The plot has Spidey taking on a villain called The Lizard. What's not to love about a chase through New York City? In the thriller Premium Rush, a bicycle messenger is pursued by a policeman. He wants an envelope that the messenger is carrying.

What's showing this winter at a theater near you?
When you go to the movies, what do you watch? Exhilarating action films? Romantic comedies? Animated adventures? Whatever you enjoy, you'll find it on the silver screen this holiday season.
Three animated films promise adventure and excitement in 3-D. In Megamind, a supervillain named Megamind discovers that his life is boring without an adversary, so he creates Titan, the perfect superhero. Unfortunately, Titan decides to destroy the world and Megamind has to save it. Disney's Tangled is an adaptation of the Rapunzel fairytale about a princess who has spent her entire life in a tower. After falling in love with a clever young man, she must venture out into the world to find him. Yogi Bear follows the adventures of two bears, Yogi and Boo Boo, who live in Jellystone Park. When the greedy mayor wants to close the park, Yogi and Boo Boo spring into action to save their home.
Romance fans will enjoy Due Date. Robert Downey Jr. plays a father-to-be trying to reach home for the birth of his first child. He hitches a ride with an aspiring actor and on the cross-country trip encounters one disaster after another.
Fantasy-adventure fans won't want to miss The Chronicles of Narnia. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. In it, Lucy and Edmund and their cousin Eustace are swallowed up by a painting in Lucy's room. Rescued by the ship the Dawn Treader. the group undertakes a quest to find the seven lost lords of Narnia. In Gulliver's Travels, Jack Black plays Lemuel Gulliver, a struggling writer. Gulliver hopes to impress a travel editor by taking a boat to the Bermuda Triangle. He survives a brutal storm and finds himself on an island populated by 6-inch-tall people. Tron: Legacy, the sequel to the 1982 film about video game programmer Kevin Flynn, tells the story of Kevin's son, Sam. While investigating his father's disappearance, Same is thrust into the digital world of Tron. He reunites with his father, and they try to escape from the cyberuniverse that Kevin created 25 years earlier. Those who enjoy historical dramas must see The King's Speech, which is inspired by from the true story of England's King George VI. A speech therapist helps the stuttering king prepare to deliver the most important speech of his life.
You'll also find heart-stopping action in theaters this winter. The action thriller Unstoppable stars two-time Oscar winner Danzel Washington. Washington plays an experienced locomotive engineer, who, with the help of a young conductor, must stop a long, unmanned train. The train, nicknamed "The Beast," is loaded with flammable liquids and poison gas and is hurtling toward a highly populated area.
Audiences will be amused at the romantic comedy Morning Glory. In it, a hard-working TV producer has trouble with her career and love life. She decides to revive her last-place morning news show, so she pairs a legendary TV anchorman with a former celebrity gossip specialist. Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton play the anchorman and gossip specialist respectively. The resulting clash of personalities plays out both on and off the air. Reese Witherspoon stars in How Do You Know, a comedy drama about professional athletes and their love lives. Witherspoon plays a professional softball player who has both a corporate executive and major-league pitcher vying for her affections. Take time to see a movie this winter, and don't forget the popcorn!

Summer Movies

Movie fans know that Hollywood offers many exciting titles during the summer. From May to August, here's some of what eager moviegoers can expect to see. Many sequels hit the screen this summer. Robert Downey Jr. again plays Tony Stark/Iron Man in Iron Man 2. Nick Fury, character from the 2008 movie, asks Tony for help. He wants to stop a criminal named "The Mandarin." The fourth Shrek film is Shrek Forever After. It introduces more fairy-tale characters including Rumpelstiltskin and Cinderella. In the movie, Shrek is an ordinary family man. But he longs for the days when he was an ogre. When Rumpelstiltskin gets into mischief and tricks Shrek, trouble begins.
Disney's Toy Story 3 continues the story of woody. Buzz and all their toy box friends. They end up at a daycare when Andy leaves for college. New toys in the story include Ken, who is Barbie's boyfriend, and Mr. Pricklepants, a hedgehog toy.
Adventure
Young people will enjoy a remake of the 1984 film. The Karate Kid. Film din China, the picture stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. In the movie, a single mother moves to China with her son Dre. Once there, Dre gets interested in martial arts. He wants to protect himself from mean kids at school. His teacher is a martial arts master named Mr. Han. Another adventure film, Prince of Persia, comes from a popular video game. This fantasy tells the story of Prince Dastan. He is a 6th-century Persian Prince. He and a beautiful princess join together to stop a villain from getting the Sands of Time. This treasure can actually turn back time. The film has many exciting special effects. Adventure moves to modern times in Salt. Angelina Jole stars as a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy. She must go on the run and try to prove her innocence.
Comedy
No summer is complete without comedies. Laugh at Marmaduke. He's a lovable great dane who tries to cope with his family's move to California. This live-action comedy finds Marmaduke in many crazy situations including a canine surfing competition.
Ramona and Beezus, starring Selma Gomez, is based on a set of best-selling books. Ramona Quimby's active imagination and unlimited energy get her into lots of trouble. In the action-comedy Knight and Day, a small-town woman-Cameron Diaz-goes on a blind date.
Her life is turned upside down when her date-Tom Cruise - turns out to be a super spy.
Drama
The romantic drama Letters to Juliet follows Sophia, a young American woman, as she travels to Verona, Italy. The city is famous for Shakespeare's lovers Romeo and Juliet. Sophia answers an old letter to Juliet seeking advice about love, and it changes her life.
Whether it's laughs, romance or adventure, you'll find it at the movies this summer.

Movie fans know that Hollywood offers many exciting titles during the summer. From May to August, here's some of what eager moviegoers can expect to see. Many sequels hit the screen this summer. Robert Downey Jr. again plays Tony Stark/Iron Man in Iron Man 2. Nick Fury, character from the 2008 movie, asks Tony for help. He wants to stop a criminal named "The Mandarin." The fourth Shrek film is Shrek Forever After. It introduces more fairy-tale characters including Rumpelstiltskin and Cinderella. In the movie, Shrek is an ordinary family man. But he longs for the days when he was an ogre. When Rumpelstiltskin gets into mischief and tricks Shrek, trouble begins.
Disney's Toy Story 3 continues the story of woody. Buzz and all their toy box friends. They end up at a daycare when Andy leaves for college. New toys in the story include Ken, who is Barbie's boyfriend, and Mr. Pricklepants, a hedgehog toy.
Adventure
Young people will enjoy a remake of the 1984 film. The Karate Kid. Film din China, the picture stars Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. In the movie, a single mother moves to China with her son Dre. Once there, Dre gets interested in martial arts. He wants to protect himself from mean kids at school. His teacher is a martial arts master named Mr. Han. Another adventure film, Prince of Persia, comes from a popular video game. This fantasy tells the story of Prince Dastan. He is a 6th-century Persian Prince. He and a beautiful princess join together to stop a villain from getting the Sands of Time. This treasure can actually turn back time. The film has many exciting special effects. Adventure moves to modern times in Salt. Angelina Jole stars as a CIA officer accused of being a Russian spy. She must go on the run and try to prove her innocence.
Comedy
No summer is complete without comedies. Laugh at Marmaduke. He's a lovable great dane who tries to cope with his family's move to California. This live-action comedy finds Marmaduke in many crazy situations including a canine surfing competition.
Ramona and Beezus, starring Selma Gomez, is based on a set of best-selling books. Ramona Quimby's active imagination and unlimited energy get her into lots of trouble. In the action-comedy Knight and Day, a small-town woman-Cameron Diaz-goes on a blind date.
Her life is turned upside down when her date-Tom Cruise - turns out to be a super spy.
Drama
The romantic drama Letters to Juliet follows Sophia, a young American woman, as she travels to Verona, Italy. The city is famous for Shakespeare's lovers Romeo and Juliet. Sophia answers an old letter to Juliet seeking advice about love, and it changes her life.
Whether it's laughs, romance or adventure, you'll find it at the movies this summer.

In Fantastic Mr. Fox, the Fox family lives under a hill with Badger, Weasel and Rabbit and their families. Mr. Fox uses his wits to take food from three farmers. Get Ready, Get Set, Get Muddy!

As adventure races gain popularity, the Muddy Buddy stands out

You stand at the starting line, ready to meet the challenge that lies ahead. In a few moments you will take on the Muddy Buddy. This unique and entertaining race will have you smiling – and dirty – in no time.
Unlike a traditional race, the Muddy Buddy requires each racer to compete with a partner. The “buddies” take turns running and riding a bicycle over a six- to seven-mile course. Along the way, they come across five obstacles. Racers work to overcome these obstacles while taking turns running and biking. For most teams though, the best part of the race comes at the end. Here, partners must crawl together through a 60-foot-long mud pit.
Smiling racers are covered from head to toe in mud when they finally cross the finish line. The race is all in fun. After the race, awards are given to the fastest teams. And one award is even given to the team wearing the best costume. Every muddy buddy feels like a winner, albeit a muddy one!

When the Muddy Buddy race started in 1999, about 600 people participated. Ten years later, there were over 20,000 racers. Some of the challenges facing Muddy Buddy racers include walking across a balance beam, climbing a wall, and sliding down a 30-foot slide. Children can enjoy the Muddy Buddy too. There is a special race for them called the Mini Muddy Buddy.

Once you've created your league, you hold a draft. This is when the users in your league decide who gets which athletes on their team. But how do you know whom to pick for your team? You can choose athletes from any professional team in the sport. Your success is determined by how well the real athletes do in the season.
