TripAdvisor.com calls it "the nation's #1 Water Park.". The admission price includes both theme parks, free parking, free soft drinks and free all-you-need sunscreen. That helps make it a very affordable and fun family vacation! No wonder "The World's Friendliest and Cleanest" theme park has had over a million first-time visitors.
Back in town, kids of all ages enjoy Lake Rudolph's light show from Thanksgiving through New Year's. The more than 300 light displays portray the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Though every day is Christmas Day in Santa Claus, December is the most exciting month! The first three weekends are packed with holiday fun. Family-friendly games include tree decorating, a 5-kilometer holiday race and more. The second weekend features a delightful Christmas parade.
For those with a sweet tooth, a trip to Santa's Candy Castle is a requirement. The castle-shaped building was first built in the mid-1930s. Today it houses many treats and the world's largest selection of candy canes.America's Hometown Christmas Tree is a must-see with decorations from all 50 states.
